Compuware Joins the Business Software Alliance
WASHINGTON, May 3, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --The Business Software Alliance (BSA), the leading advocate for the global software industry, today announced that Compuware Corporation (Nasdaq: CPWR) has joined BSA as a member of its policy council. In this role, Compuware, a provider of software and professional technical services specializing in application performance management, cloud-based secure collaboration solutions and mainframe productivity solutions, will work with a group of 27 other BSA member companies to develop and advocate policy positions that promote technology innovation.
In all, BSA's membership ranks now include 85 of the world's leading software companies. Working with BSA staff, they engage in anti-piracy and policy activities at the global, regional and local levels.
