Patent numbers 8,850,019; 8,843,710; and 9,305,012 expand Compuverde's patent family and solidify its position as a pioneer in software-defined storage solutions.

Compuverde's patent family extends across all major global regions, including the U.S., the European Patent Office (EPO), China, Japan and Eurasia. The current group of patents focuses on:

• Reliable replication: Compuverde has created a distributed data storage system that uses multiple storage nodes, which ensures that data is sufficiently spread out to provide efficient and reliable replication of data in case of storage node malfunctions.
• Multiple storage nodes: The company has also devised a unique method for maintaining data in a storage system by using multiple storage nodes to monitor and detect conditions so that replication of data happens quickly, efficiently and in order of priority.
• Quicker retrieval: The third patented innovation deals with creating a distributed directory structure for data storage. This facilitates quicker data retrieval, no matter where files are in a system.
