IT Channel's Premier Education, Networking and Partnering Event Set for Aug. 1-3
DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., Feb. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- CompTIA, the nonprofit trade association for the information technology (IT) industry, today issued a call for speakers for ChannelCon 2016, the IT channel's premier education, networking and partnering event.
This year's conference is set for August 1-3 at the Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, Fla.
Each year ChannelCon is filled with educational sessions, industry panels, keynotes, networking opportunities and working groups on the most important topics and trends impacting the IT industry.
"Cloud-based solutions, mobile apps and devices, workforce automation, big data, the Internet of Things and other disruptive technologies continue to shake things up for both end users and the solutions providers, vendors and consultants they partner with," said Kelly Ricker, senior vice president, events and education, CompTIA.
"With help from many of the brightest minds and visionary leaders in our industry, the ChannelCon 2016 program will deliver everything channel partners need to know to survive and thrive in this fast-changing market," Ricker added.

Prospective speakers may also submit a topic not on this list, provided it focuses on IT channel education and does not promote specific products, programs or services.
New for 2016, CompTIA is also accepting submissions for its popular Track4Techs program at ChannelCon 2016. This educational programming covers technical topics created specifically for the IT pro community. Participants in the Track4Techs earn CompTIA Continuing Education credits to keep their CompTIA certifications current.
All ChannelCon speaker proposals may be submitted at https://www.comptia.org/events/channelcon-2016-call-for-speakers. The deadline for submissions is May 1, 2016.
