CompTIA CertMaster Expands Product Line with Addition of Latest CompTIA Security+ Exam

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., Sept. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- CompTIA, the IT Industry Trade Association, today announced a new addition to CompTIA CertMaster, the online learning tool that makes learning IT skills accessible, effective and fun.

A CompTIA CertMaster learning course is now available worldwide for the CompTIA Security+ (SY0-401) certification exam.

CompTIA Security+ is widely recognized throughout the IT industry and around the world as a certification that designates knowledgeable professionals in the field of cybersecurity, one of the fastest growing categories of all IT careers. For example, the number of job postings across the United States for information security analysts grew 40 percent from Q2 in 2013 to Q2 in 2014, according to Burning Glass Technologies Labor Insights.

The current CompTIA Security+ exam tests for skills that IT professionals use in today's cybersecurity environment, including mobile security and BYOD; risk mitigation; and authentication, authorization and access control.
