MINNEAPOLIS, June 14, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- More than 1,500 compliance and ethics professionals from 23 countries and five continents will meet in Chicago, September 25-28, 2016 to attend the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE) 15th Annual Compliance & Ethics Institute being held at the Sheraton Grand. Hot topics to be addressed include big data, human trafficking/modern slavery, data protection, privacy and information security and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act enforcement.
This year's Compliance & Ethics Institute offers eight learning tracks—Risk, Ethics, Compliance Lawyer, IT Compliance, Case Studies, Advanced Discussion Groups, and the International/Multi-National Track. The International/Multi-National Track, comprised of 13 sessions, is dedicated to international/transnational compliance issues. More than 100 sessions will be offered at the CEI; the topics addressed mirror the wide range of issues affecting compliance professionals, whether based in the U.S., Brazil, Singapore, or anywhere else in the globe.
"The Compliance and Ethics Institute has truly grown to be unsurpassed in its ability to bring compliance professionals together to share with and learn from each others. What's remarkable about the numbers we're seeing is that they only reflect a portion of who will be attending. With more than 100 days to go we'll see even more people from more countries joining us in Chicago," said SCCE CEO Roy Snell.
The Compliance & Ethics Institute (http://www.complianceethicsinstitute.org/) brings talented, respected, and recognized experts to address a myriad of regulatory compliance matters.
