Compass Point Research & Trading, LLC Expands Sales and Trading Platform Launching New Offices in Boston and New York

WASHINGTON, June 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Compass Point Research & Trading, LLC ("Compass Point"), a full service investment bank specializing in the financial services industry, today announced the expansion of its Sales and Trading business with the opening of new offices in Boston and New York and the addition of four senior salespeople: Paul Mattaliano, Robert Keane, Alexander Krasutsky and Peter McCorry.

Mr. Mattaliano joins as the Director of Sales for Boston and will be responsible for leading Compass Point's equity sales efforts there.  An industry veteran, Mr. Mattaliano most recently joins the firm from Keefe, Bruyette & Woods where he served as the Director of Equity Sales, Boston.  Prior to that, he was Vice President, Equity Research Analyst with Evergreen Investment Management Company, LLC and Vice President with Fleet Investment Advisors, Inc.  Mr. Mattaliano began his career with The Niles Company, Inc., a commercial real estate company based in Boston, MA.  Mr. Mattaliano earned his M.B.A. from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. 

Compass Point's Boston office is located at 470 Atlantic Avenue.

Messrs. Robert Keane, Alexander Krasutsky and Peter McCorry join as Senior Vice Presidents in Equity Sales in the New York office. 

Mr. Keane joins the firm from Keefe, Bruyette & Woods where he was Senior Vice President, Sales Trading.  Prior to his 11-year tenure with the company, Mr. Keane held various positions with Credit Suisse First Boston and its predecessor Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. 

Mr. Krasutsky joins Compass Point from Keefe, Bruyette & Woods where he was Senior Vice President, Sales Trading.  Prior to his 11-year tenure with the company, Mr. Krasutsky was a Sales Trader with Tucker, Anthony & Company.  Mr. Krasutsky began his career on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.

With more than twenty-five years of industry experience, Mr. McCorry joins the firm from Keefe, Bruyette & Woods where he held the position of Senior Vice President, Sales Trading.  Prior to that, he was a Managing Director with Citigroup, Inc. in its equity sales & trading division.  Mr. McCorry began his career as a Financial Consultant with SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Inc. in Atlanta, GA.
