With the ability to operate in a temperature range of -20 degrees C to +70 degrees C or -40 degrees C to +85 degrees C and available frequency resolution to six decimal places, the versatile and precise 2.5-volt FXO-HC32 XpressO oscillators are ideal for applications that require low jitter in an exceptionally compact, cost-effective package. These include, Ethernet, broadband access, SATA and SAS hard disk drives, industrial controllers, fiber channel, storage area networks and microprocessors/DSP/FPGAs.
A breakthrough in configurable frequency control solutions, XpressO crystal oscillators utilize a family of proprietary application specific integrated circuits (ASICs), designed and developed by Fox with a focus on noise reduction. These ASICs have the ability to enable users to select the optimum combination of output type, input voltages and temperature performance features. XpressO oscillators have reduced noise levels comparable to traditional bulk quartz and SAW oscillators by using the third order Delta Sigma Modulator (DSM). The low cost oscillators also offer extremely low jitter of less than 1 pS.
Samples are available in one to two days and within 10 days for production quantities. The oscillators come standard with Fox's patented serial identification system that features a comprehensive traceability back to its original manufacturing lot to ensure quality control.
The RoHS- and REACH-compliant XpressO oscillators feature a tri-state enable/disable feature that enables the user to turn off the output as a way to reduce power consumption. Fox's FXO-HC32 series' contacts are constructed with a gold over nickel termination finish and incorporate industry standard packaging, including footprint and pin-out.
Pricing for the FXO-HC335, 150 MHz is $2.75 in quantities of 25,000. Delivery is 10 days for production quantities.
