Community Management Concepts (CMC) of Jacksonville Property Pronounced WINNER in the 2010 Florida Communities of Excellence Awards

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Associa is proud to announce that CMC of Jacksonville's community, Forest Ridge Village, won the "Safety and Security" award in the 2010 Florida Communities of Excellence Awards for executing a robust plan to ensure the safety of its homeowners.

Forest Ridge Village Condominium Association cooperates closely with local law enforcement to reduce crime. The association's Board instituted background checks for all long-term tenants, established a Neighborhood Watch program, increased security education and emphasized vehicle control and lighting.

The Florida Communities of Excellence Awards is the only statewide, independently judged program recognizing community associations for best practices and accomplishments who set the standard with programs such as disaster preparedness, environmental protection, water & energy conservation, community relations, financial innovation or safety & security.  The awards are sponsored by the Florida Community Association Journal and Becker & Poliakoff.
