Community Hospital Corporation Announces Lease Agreement with North Texas Medical Center

PLANO, Texas, Nov. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) and the Gainesville Hospital District (GHD) Board of Directors recently agreed that, through a joint arrangement between GHD and CHC, North Texas Medical Center (NTMC) would be leased to and operated by a newly created CHC organization. The hospital has been under management by CHC Consulting, the management and consulting arm of CHC, since May of this year. The new lease arrangement will go into effect December 1, 2018.

NTMC is a 60-bed acute care hospital situated on 52 acres located within the city limits of Gainesville, a community approximately 60 miles north of Dallas-Fort Worth and five miles south of the Texas-Oklahoma border. Since NTMC's campus was rebuilt in 2004, it has continued to grow to better serve the medical needs of the North Texas area.
