Community Financial Renews Commitment to Gaylord Area, Prepares to Open Second Branch

PLYMOUTH, Mich., May 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Community Financial Credit Union has recently reaffirmed its commitment to northern Michigan and the Gaylord community.

Community Financial, headquartered in Plymouth, Mich., recently finalized an agreement, to purchase property for a new branch, its second in the growing Gaylord area.  The credit union is still developing a construction timeline for the new branch, which will be located in the 32/I-75 corridor, but work is expected to begin this year.

"We are very excited for the Gaylord community for the growing presence of Community Financial Credit Union," said Paul Beachnau, executive director of the Gaylord Area Chamber of Commerce. "The foresight to add a location in the vibrant and growing market here in Gaylord is to be commended."

The new branch will complement Community Financial's current Gaylord branch at 333 W. Commerce Blvd., and will be its ninth branch, joining locations in Hillman and Lewiston in northern Michigan and Plymouth, Canton, Novi and Northville in metro Detroit.
