Community Event on January 17, 2015 at the New Pearland Medical Center Area's First Hospital
PEARLAND, Texas, Jan. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Pearland Medical Center proudly invites area residents to a community event celebrating the opening of the area's first full-service hospital on Saturday, January 17th from 9:00 a.m. until 12 noon at 11100 Shadow Creek Parkway, Pearland, TX 77584.
Children can enjoy face painting and learning about their most vital organs as they walk through our medical exhibits, featuring large-scale, educational models of a human heart and brain.
Attendees can take a tour of Pearland's new hospital, meet the talented, dedicated staff and enjoy the music and giveaways from Sunny 99.1 FM. Breakfast favorites will be served from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and lunch from Pearland's very own, Killen's barbecue, from 11 a.m. until 12 noon.
It's the perfect way to celebrate Pearland becoming Careland. The new $71 million, 144,000 square-foot hospital will offer a full range of acute care inpatient, outpatient and emergency care services, including surgery, laboratory, diagnostic imaging, labor and delivery and cardiac catheterization. Pearland Medical Center is slated to open in late January 2015.
