Community Bank of Tri-County Receives Four Prestigious MarCom Awards

WALDORF, Md., Nov. 15, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Community Bank of Tri-County announced today that it has been awarded four MarCom Awards. These awards signify creative achievement and recognize excellence in marketing communications in a variety of media. Community Bank received recognition as a Platinum, Gold and two honorable mention winners.

Community Bank was recognized for its work and awarded the Platinum award for the 2010 Community Wealth Advisors Campaign. Platinum awards are judged to be among the best entries in the competition with only about 15 percent of award winners achieving this honor. Community Bank also received a Gold award for its work on the 2009 Convenience Services Campaign.  Community Bank received honorable mentions for its "Ribbiting News" (kid's club savings newsletter) and the 2009 Business Services Campaign.

The MarCom Awards are an international competition and receives entries in several areas of media and communication including marketing, promotion, creativity and electronic.

The MarCom Awards, considered the largest awards competition of its kind, honors professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of marketing and communications programs and print, visual and audio materials.
