Communications Trailblazer Axel Clauberg of Deutsche Telekom to Keynote Light Reading's Big Telecom Event in June

BTE, to be held June 17-18 at the Sheraton Hotel in Chicago, is a demo space and conference that brings real-world, cutting-edge technology demonstrations and business insights to communications service provider executives.

Clauberg, one of the leading network executives at European telecom operator Deutsche Telekom, is the driving force behind his company's next-generation communications network architecture, known as TeraStream. That network is being developed using the same kinds of technologies – software-defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV) – that companies such as Google, Amazon, and AT&T are planning to use (or in some cases are already using) to deliver better and faster services to all types of customers.
