Communications Group Senior Vice President Leaves TVA

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., June 15, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- David Mould announced his resignation Wednesday, June 15, as the Tennessee Valley Authority's senior vice president of Communications.

Mould came to TVA in July 2009 as senior vice president of Communications. Mould had previously served as assistant administrator for Public Affairs with the National Aeronautics & Space Administration, directing communications, outreach and public affairs efforts for the U.S. space program.

The Communications organization will report to Kim Greene until an interim executive is appointed to lead the organization.

The Tennessee Valley Authority, a corporation owned by the U.S. government, provides electricity for 9 million people in parts of seven southeastern states at prices below the national average. TVA, which receives no taxpayer money and makes no profits, also provides flood control, navigation and land management for the Tennessee River system and assists utilities and state and local governments with economic development.
