Commonwealth//McCann Expands Creative Team
RICK DENNIS, TIM TEEGARDEN AND MATT CANZANO PROMOTED TO NEW GLOBAL CREATIVE ROLES
DETROIT, Jan. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Commonwealth//McCann, a division of McCann Worldgroup, today announced several key creative leadership promotions and appointments to further expand its global and North American teams.
Effective immediately, as part of the global creative expansion, the agency created a new marketing communications role responsible for the global oversight of its retail/event creative product and initiatives. Matt Canzano, Executive VP, Deputy Global Chief Creative Officer, has been promoted into this new position and will assume responsibility for all North American retail/events and global creative governance efforts.
Rick Dennis and Tim Teegarden have been promoted to Global Executive Creative Directors and will now be responsible for overseeing creative for all the agency's global nameplates and football initiatives. Both had previously served as Creative Directors for North America.
Also, Commonwealth//McCann has added four new Creative Directors—Adam Glickman, Craig Feigen, Timothy Mattimore and John Fiebke—who join the agency's U.S. creative team that also includes Gary Pascoe, Chief Creative Officer, North America, and Linus Karlsson, Global Creative Chairman.

Canzano began his career at McCann more than 11 years ago and has remained instrumental in advancing the company's business and helping to streamline team efforts and processes. Prior to joining McCann, Canzano served as Creative Director for agencies including J. Walter Thompson and The Leap Partnership.
Dennis has been with the Commonwealth//McCann team since its inception almost three years ago. He also previously served as Executive Creative Director/Co-Manager for Goodby Silverstein & Partners and has held executive creative positions with BBDO Detroit and Bozell/FCB.
Teegarden joined the agency in 2012. He has been creating advertising since 1985, selling everything from Slurpees to Corvette Stingrays. He has held positions at agencies, including Goodby Silverstein & Partners, BBDO, Bozell/FCB, Young & Rubicam and Doner.
The four new Creative Directors are award-winners with extensive international brand experience who are joining Commonwealth//McCann from positions at agencies throughout the U.S. Glickman and Feigen worked together as a creative team at DDB in Chicago, where they developed campaigns across media channels for clients such as Budweiser, Bud Light, State Farm, McDonald's and PepsiCo International. Feigen also worked on the Audi account. Mattimore and Fiebke began their creative partnership at Energy BBDO in Chicago, where they developed campaigns for Orbit and 5 Gum. Mattimore has also taught at The Fashion Institute of Technology and The Academy of Art and Design in San Francisco. Fiebke is a Creative Director and Copywriter who has led creative efforts for Lifesavers and has developed campaigns for such clients as Sony, Land Rover, Jaguar and Kohler.
