Commonwealth to Auction off More than 450 Vehicles on June 24
Public Preview Period Runs June 20-23
HARRISBURG, Pa., June 19, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- More than 450 vehicles will be auctioned off in Dauphin County when the commonwealth holds its third state fleet auction of the year at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, at the Manheim Central Penn Auto Auction, 488 Firehouse Road, Grantville.
Trucks, SUVs and sedans used by state agencies from various vehicle manufacturers will be available for bid. This auction also features three Harley Davidson motorcycles previously used by the Pennsylvania State Police. Vehicles seized by state law enforcement agencies will also be up for auction.
The public will have the opportunity to inspect the vehicles daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, June 20, through Monday, June 23, at Manheim Central Penn Auto Auction.
The auction will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24. Registration opens at 8 a.m. and closes at noon. Buyers may purchase with cash or certified funds in the form of money orders, cashier's checks, certified checks or bank checks – all made payable to "Manheim Central Penn Auto Auction."
This is the third of six vehicle auctions slated for 2014. All revenue generated is returned to the commonwealth.
