Commonwealth Hotels Appoints Malcolm Underwood to Director of Sales at Hilton Garden Inn Gulfport

GULFPORT, Miss., Dec. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Commonwealth Hotels LLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Malcolm Underwood to the position of director of sales at Hilton Garden Inn Gulfport.

In his role as director of sales, Underwood will direct all areas of the hotel's sales and marketing efforts. A 10-year hotel industry veteran, he brings experience from Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton Inn by Hilton. Previously, Underwood served as sales manager at the Jackson Convention Complex/SMG in Jackson, Mississippi. Underwood is a graduate of Jackson State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Social/Behavioral Science.
