CHICAGO, June 21 /PRNewswire/ -- ComEd recently announced several executive appointments that stem from recent organizational structure changes aimed at improving operational performance and enhancing customer service.
Following is an overview of the appointments.
Tyler Anthony was named senior vice president, Distribution Operations. In this role he will oversee distribution operations for ComEd's entire service area, including new business, construction and maintenance and field operations. Anthony joined the company in 1984 and has a wide-range of experience in the energy and utility industries. Prior to his promotion, Anthony served as vice president of Transmission and Substation.
Michelle Blaise was named vice president, Engineering and Project Management. In this role she will oversee development of reliability programs, capacity planning and project management. Prior to this role, she served as director of Engineering.
James Conway was named vice president, Distribution System Operations. In this role he will oversee efforts to ensure ComEd's electric distribution system is operating safely and efficiently. Conway has held a number of key positions in the 26 years he has been with the company. Prior to his promotion Conway served as director of ComEd's Operations Control Center.
William McBride was named vice president, Distribution Operations, Suburban Regions. He will oversee operations within ComEd's Suburban Regions, including new business, work management, construction and maintenance and field operations. McBride has more than 30 years of experience with ComEd and previously served as director of Transmission and Substation.
Joseph Svachula was named vice president, Customer Field Operations. He will oversee ComEd's field operations, including meter services and the company's smart meter program operations. Prior to his promotion, Svachula served as director of ComEd's Customer Strategy and Support where he provided strategic support to all areas of Customer Operations.
Laura Novy was named vice president, Customer Care. In this role she will oversee ComEd's call center, billing operations and credit and payment operations. Novy previously served as director of Revenue Management where she managed the strategy and day-to-day operations of the Revenue Management Department.
Ronald Donovan was promoted to vice president, Customer Business Transformation and Technology. In this role he will develop and implement the customer strategy for ComEd, including expansion of customer services tools such as social media and customer application programs. Donovan has held a number of key positions within the company. Prior to his promotion, he served as director of Asset Performance and Investment Strategy.
