The events at Fashion Valley Mall are being presented by the Kauai Visitors Bureau, with support from the County of Kauai, Hawaii Tourism Authority, Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau, Alaska Airlines, Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa, Koloa Landing at Poipu Beach, and Kauai Kookies.
Alaska Airlines Launching Nonstop San Diego-Kauai Flights, June 7
This summer, planning a Kauai vacation will be a lot more convenient for travelers from the greater San Diego area, with the launch of Alaska Airlines' new nonstop service between San Diego and Kauai, starting June 7.
Alaska Airlines Flight 855 will depart San Diego daily at 10:00 a.m. and arrive on Kauai at 1:10 p.m. The return Flight 850 will depart Kauai daily at 11:10 a.m. and arrive in San Diego at 7:30 p.m.
Alaska will operate the San Diego-Kauai flights using its fleet of Boeing 737-800 aircraft seating 157 passengers, with 16 seats in First Class and 141 seats in Coach.
