Comcast Business Services Launches New Chamber Referral Program in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
Program enables organizations to provide their members with even more ways to save on Comcast Business Class Solutions
BALTIMORE, Feb. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK), one of the nation's leading providers of entertainment, information and communications products and services, today announced the regional roll-out of its Chamber Referral Program in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. as part of an ongoing strategy to help small businesses access advanced communications solutions. This program offers local Chambers of Commerce additional opportunities to extend discounts to their members on select tiers of Comcast Business Class Internet and Comcast Business Class Voice products.

Through the Chamber Referral Program, customers who sign up through their Chamber of Commerce can now receive a 16 percent discount on Comcast's Business Class Premium service and get speeds of up to 22 Mbps download/5 Mbps upload for only $85 per month. Alternatively, they can choose Comcast's Business Class Deluxe Internet service, which provides speeds of up to 100 Mbps download/10 Mbps upload for $160 per month, which is a discount of 15 percent off regular pricing.
Comcast Business Class Internet is a comprehensive business solution that includes Cloud Services by Microsoft® (valued at more than $500), a world-class productivity suite that combines Windows® SharePoint and Microsoft Outlook email powered by Microsoft Exchange Server for no additional fee. In addition, Comcast's Internet service includes Norton Business Suite™ software (up to a $490 retail value), which helps to protect up to 25 PCs from viruses and spyware. There are a range of other website hosting, design features and options available as well.
As part of the program, businesses can also receive Business Class Voice full-featured phone lines for $29.95 per month (minimum two lines required). Comcast Business Class Voice service is a reliable business phone service that offers the best in call clarity, with services traveling across Comcast's own private network. With unlimited local and long distance calling, advanced call management tools and innovative and flexible voice mail options all included, Business Class Voice has the features that businesses need to stay connected and be more competitive.
A number of local Chambers of Commerce in Maryland and Virginia have already begun to take advantage of this new program, including: the Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce; the Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce; Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce; Prince William Chamber of Commerce; Frederick County Chamber of Commerce; and the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce, among others.
