10th Anniversary of Red Sox On Demand Season Includes Two-Part "Life of Yaz" Documentary and a Look Back at the 2007 Championship Season
BOSTON, April 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast today announced the start of the 10th season of Red Sox On Demand on Xfinity TV in partnership with the Boston Red Sox, once again delivering Sox fans exciting behind-the-scenes features, player profiles and notable on-the-field moments.
The 2017 season of Red Sox On Demand connects fans with their favorite team every day of the year with the latest team news, community events, profiles of current and past players, insider features and historic milestones. In addition to episodes of the Red Sox Report, which airs weekly on NESN, highlights include a collection of interviews with Red Sox Legends such as Pedro Martinez and Carlton Fisk discussing their Hall of Fame careers at Red Sox "Winter Weekend," a two-part documentary on Carl Yastrzemski entitled "Life of Yaz" and 2007 World Series content celebrating the 10-year anniversary of that championship season. Comcast On Demand will also feature a new Red Sox special 30-minute animated show, Wally's Opening Day, featuring the loveable mascot and a star-studded cast.
Red Sox On Demand programming is updated regularly and is available around the clock with the ability to pause, fast forward and rewind selections for Xfinity TV customers in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. It's easy to access by typing "Red Sox On Demand" with the X1 Remote or by selecting "Xfinity Services," then "Get Local" and choosing "Red Sox On Demand." As with the overwhelming majority of Xfinity TV's 100,000 On Demand programs available on TV, Red Sox On Demand is available at no additional cost.
