Columbia Gorge Winery Wins Big at 2013 Seattle Wine Awards
Maryhill Winery adds to its long list of award-winning wines with an unprecedented 30 wins at the statewide tasting competition
GOLDENDALE, Wash., June 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Maryhill Winery, located in Washington's scenic Columbia Gorge AVA, has been awarded an impressive 30 medals in the recent Seattle Wine Awards, a statewide competition judged by esteemed local and national wine professionals. The tasting awards recognize the highest level of achievement in Washington wines, and the Columbia Gorge winery earned the most "Double Gold" medals of any of the 247 participating wineries. In addition to the nine "Double Gold" wins, the top honor in each category, Maryhill varietals took home 21 other awards, including 11 "Gold," nine "Silver" and one "Bronze" medal.
