CARLSBAD, Calif., April 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Colorescience today announced the appointment of former SkinMedica CEO, Mary Fisher, who joins the brand in the same capacity. She will also serve on the Company's Board of Directors, which is chaired by David Hale of Hale BioPharma Ventures, LLC. Josie Juncal, Chief Commercial Officer for Colorescience, also formerly of SkinMedica, will remain in her current position. In addition, former SkinMedica Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, Ted Ebel, joins Colorescience as Chief Business Officer.

- David Crist, Executive Director, Finance, and Controller, with more than 20 years experience in finance and accounting. He has held leadership positions at both retail and health care companies, such as Solatube and Innercool.
- Torie Hardee, National Sales Director, an almost 20 year veteran of the cosmetic and health care industries, formerly National Director of Sales and Infomercial lead at Valeant Pharmaceuticals, with earlier career experience at Estee Lauder.
- Lindsey Vanderbilt, Director of Marketing, with more than 12 years experience in brand management and marketing in the cosmetics industry, including leadership positions at Avon, Coty and Beaute Prestige.
Ms. Fisher has more than 25 years experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Prior to SkinMedica, she was Chief Operating Officer of Acorda Therapeutics with responsibility for corporate strategy and business development, sales and marketing, and manufacturing. Previously, she was VP, Strategic Healthcare and Commercial Operations for Cephalon, with responsibility for global commercial operations. Earlier, she was at Immunex and Boehringer Ingelheim. She is a member of the Board of aesthetics firm, Zeltiq® (NASDAQ: ZLTQ), and a Trustee of the Board of the Neuroscience Nursing Foundation.
Prior to joining SkinMedica, Mr. Ebel held senior management positions in Corporate Development and Strategy at CancerVax Corporation, where he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions, in-licensing and out-licensing activities. Prior to CancerVax, Mr. Ebel was Vice President, Strategic Ventures at MP3.com. In addition, he has held management positions at Amgen in Marketing and Corporate Development as well as served as a Management Consultant at Arthur D. Little, Inc. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies from Duke University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He received his MBA from the Wharton School, at the University of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Juncal took the lead at Colorescience following its acquisition by SkinMedica and has had leadership responsibility for the entire operation. At SkinMedica, she had multiple leadership roles in product development, product planning, marketing and international business. She led the educational and PR platforms that contributed significantly to driving growth. Prior to SkinMedica, Ms. Juncal held sales and marketing positions at Cosmederm Bioscience and Instead, rounding out almost 15 years experience in women's health and aesthetics. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC Irvine and has a Masters degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Elmhurst College.
