Colonial Williamsburg and Virginia Arts Festival Present Kathy Mattea at Williamsburg Lodge Feb. 27
WILLIAMSBURG, Va., Feb. 2 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The sound of diverse musical notes and the aroma of tempting culinary delights fill the Williamsburg Lodge during a Winter Concert Weekend presented by Colonial Williamsburg and the Virginia Arts Festival Feb. 26 – 28. Grammy-winning crossover singer and guitarist Kathy Mattea performs live Saturday, Feb. 27 for two performances at 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. in the Virginia Room of the Williamsburg Lodge. Weekend festivities begin Friday at 7 p.m. with "Pints, Pairings and Poisoned Dwarf," a Williamsburg Lodge dining experience featuring foods and ales from the Emerald Isle accompanied by the lively sounds of Celtic music. Saturday's special events begin at 2 p.m. with "Wine, Wit and Wisdom," a unique wine tasting and pairing with executive chef Rhys Lewis and sommelier Charles Birr.
