Collins Barrow partner takes on associate professorship at SMU
DARTMOUTH, NS, Oct. 5, 2012 /CNW/ - Collins Barrow Tax Partner John Oakey recently completed his first teaching term at Saint Mary's University, where this summer he was Associate Professor of a course on taxation. Throughout his career, John has helped educate professionals through the Atlantic School of Chartered Accountants, the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia.
John has also published and presented multiple papers for the Canadian Tax Foundation, and he is a current member of the steering committee that develops the program for the Atlantic Provinces Tax Conference held annually at Saint Mary's University.
