WINDSOR, ON, June 5, 2013 /CNW/ - Collins Barrow Windsor managing partner Denise Hrastovec and her husband, Peter Hrastovec, will be honoured at the Jewish National Fund of Windsor 2013 Negev Dinner. Taking place June 19, the event celebrates Israel's 65th birthday.
Recognized for their community spirit and volunteer efforts within the Windsor-Essex region, the couple is committed to children's well-being. To advance this cause, they are directing proceeds from the dinner to the Ilanot Special Needs School in Jerusalem for renovations that will provide outdoor activity areas for a cross section of students with disabilities and special needs.
In addition to her charitable work, Denise was the first female chair of the Collins Barrow National and is currently the managing partner of Collins Barrow Windsor.
"Community involvement is deeply important to me, on both a personal and professional level," says Denise. "My partners and colleagues at Collins Barrow share my enthusiasm for making a difference. It's an honour to give back in such a meaningful way."
"Across the country, Collins Barrow professionals are committed to contributing to important causes," says Dan Longlade, Chair of Collins Barrow National. "Denise and Peter provide tremendous leadership by supporting charitable causes that have sustained and far reaching effects, and inspiring others to do the same. On behalf of our network of member firms, I congratulate them on their achievements."
