Colliers International Makes Aggressive Move To Expand Government Solutions Team
Former Glendale, Ariz. city manager, Ed Beasley, brings nearly 30 years of experience in the public/private realm
SEATTLE and PHOENIX, Jan. 31, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Colliers International today announced the addition of Ed Beasley to the firm's robust Government Solutions team. Beasley will be Vice President and brings nearly 30 years of public sector experience in economic development and administration, most recently as the former city manager of Glendale, Ariz.

During his 10-year tenure as city manager in Glendale, Beasley successfully negotiated several major economic development projects, including the University of Phoenix Stadium (home of the NFL Arizona Cardinals), the Jobing.com Arena (home of the NHL Phoenix Coyotes) and a state-of-the-art Spring Training facility that is used by the Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers. He also helped bring the 2008 Super Bowl and the Fiesta Bowl to Glendale, generating tremendous economic benefit.
In his new role, Beasley will be based in Phoenix, and will leverage Colliers' nationwide integrated platform to deliver services tailored to the unique needs of state, county and municipal government. His work will be focused on advising these and other entities on issues relating to economic development, asset management and public-private opportunities.
