Colliers International Further Expands in Ohio with Addition of Cincinnati's West Shell Commercial
-Global Firm Strengthens Ohio Operations-
SEATTLE and CINCINNATI, April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Colliers International has marked another critical milestone in the evolution of its growing U.S. platform as it announced that Cincinnati's premier commercial real estate firm, West Shell Commercial, will be joining Colliers International. The addition of West Shell Commercial to the Colliers International platform comes on the heels of the recent Colliers announcement of expanded operations in Columbus.
By joining Colliers International, West Shell Commercial and its 88 professionals will become part of one of the world's top tier real estate brands, with 15,000 employees operating out of more than 480 offices in 61 countries and with revenues of nearly $2 billion.
"Colliers International is committed to being the market leader in the United States, and the West Shell Commercial move to our platform is another step in solidifying that position," said Dylan Taylor, Chief Executive Officer of Colliers International in the U.S. "With the addition of West Shell Commercial's strength in Cincinnati, and Adena Commercial in Columbus, we are able to offer our clients with the highest level of service and depth of local knowledge and expertise throughout Ohio."
The West Shell Commercial addition follows a series of similar and ongoing announcements that have vastly altered the commercial real estate services landscape. Earlier this year, Colliers International announced that it will combine operations and global real estate services platforms with FirstService Real Estate Advisors.
"Our long track record of delivering superior services to our clients will not only continue -- it will be enhanced significantly," said Shenan Murphy, CCIM, President and CEO of West Shell Commercial. "We are becoming part of a centrally operated and financially secure firm with a best-in-class services platform. While we are thrilled that we will soon be part of Colliers International, the real beneficiaries of this move will be our clients."
West Shell Commercial, a leading provider of office, retail, industrial, investment and other specialized property services, was founded in 1958 and manages 9.5 million square feet of commercial space. The firm, which formerly served as a top-producing affiliate for a mid-level U.S. commercial real estate service firm, will adopt the Colliers International name and branding on May 1. There will be no leadership or personnel changes at the firm.
