Colliers International Acquires Corporate Portfolio Analytics
Co-Founder Dr. Martha O'Mara to Serve As Executive Managing Director, Head of Consulting, Corporate Solutions | Americas
SEATTLE, Feb. 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Colliers International today announced that it has acquired leading corporate real estate management consulting firm, Corporate Portfolio Analytics, based in Cambridge, Mass. As part of the agreement to acquire the assets of the firm, CPA Co-founder and Managing Director Dr. Martha O'Mara will join Colliers' Corporate Solutions service line in an executive leadership position as Executive Managing Director, Head of Consulting, Corporate Solutions | Americas. This strategic acquisition will further strengthen Colliers' Strategy and Innovation division which manages these offerings to large corporate occupier clients.
As a member of the Corporate Solutions leadership, O'Mara and her team will provide clients industry leading advisory services in the disciplines of management consulting, portfolio optimization and location strategy.

Corporate Portfolio Analytics is a 10-year-old consultancy group that offers clients a wide range of portfolio advisory services Since founding, CPAnalytics has supported the strategy development for nearly two billion square feet of corporate occupancy, including AT&T, Bank of America, Verizon, American Express, GE, and the US government, typically in multi-year engagements.
Dr. O'Mara lectures widely, and teaches executives at the Center for Real Estate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is a member of the Alumni Advisory Board for the Real Estate Academic Initiative at Harvard University and a Counselor of Real Estate. From 1989 to 1998 she was a professor at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, and taught real estate finance, location strategy, research methods and urban development. She subsequently helped develop the school's Advancement Management Development Program for real estate executives. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior jointly awarded by the Harvard Business School and Harvard's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. She also has an MA and an MBA from Harvard University and earned a BA from the University of California, Irvine.
