Collibra Launches New Capabilities to Reduce the Hallucination Tax on Enterprise AI

New Products (Collibra Maestro, Live Map and Guardian Agents) Will Aim to Address Hidden Costs Associated with Scaling Effective AI Use

Collibra Becomes First Data and AI Governance Platform Company to Achieve AIUC-1 Certification

NEW YORK and BRUSSELS , Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Collibra, the enterprise AI control plane, today announced three new capabilities aimed at addressing the hidden costs that corporations around the world are facing as they seek to scale effective AI. Collibra Maestro, Live Map, and Guardian Agents with Agent Contracts, will take direct aim at the hallucination tax which can lead to increased costs and errors, impacts on productivity, and erosion of trust across an organization.

Notably, the new products include: 1. Collibra Maestro will enable governance teams to build their own no-code agents with governance built in from the start to automate workloads, turning weeks of manual work into minutes; 2. Live Map will give every agent a context graph of how a company's knowledge connects, enabling performant agentic retrieval from curated unstructured documents; and 3. Guardian Agents with Agent Contracts will extend AI governance to the much larger fleet of AI agents built outside Collibra.

The 2026 Hallucination Tax Report, a survey conducted by The Harris Poll on behalf of Collibra and released on September 16, found that 76% of data and AI decision-makers have hit critical roadblocks moving agents from pilot into production over the past 12 months.

Agents automate governance tasks with Collibra Maestro

Governance teams carry a growing manual workload, and automating that work typically has meant relying on technical resources most governance teams do not have. Collibra Maestro removes that dependency. Collibra Maestro is an integrated suite of AI-powered capabilities, built on Collibra's enterprise Knowledge Graph, that simplifies the automation of governance operations and accelerates the delivery of trusted context to every asset, AI model and agent. It brings Collibra's existing native AI utilities together under one suite and introduces Maestro Studio, where teams configure and manage their own agents that answer questions and perform automated governance tasks within Collibra.Through a visual builder, users can tailor an agent's persona, permissions and tool access and ground it in certified knowledge sources. Out-of-the-box templates jumpstart agent creation. Once published, end users interact with those agents through Maestro Assistant, a simple chat interface, using natural language.

Ground every agent in enterprise context with Live Map

Nearly nine in ten decision-makers (87%) say their teams regularly re-verify that the context their agents rely on remains accurate and current. Live Map, from Deasy Labs by Collibra—which specializes in unstructured data— gives agents access to a context graph capturing what entities exist across a company's documents, how they relate, and how those relationships evolve. Instead of requiring agents to repeatedly reconstruct those relationships for every question, Live Map makes that context directly available, enabling more performant agentic retrieval from curated unstructured content.

Control third-party agents with Agent Contracts and Guardian Agents

Just over half of decision-makers (51%) report spending significant staff hours manually reviewing and correcting autonomous AI agent outputs before they go live, rising to 64% at organizations with $100 million or more in revenue. The absence of structured context and runtime governance is forcing that supervision back onto people. Agent Contracts establish layered, machine-readable controls that scale across the agent fleet, with global rules and specialized requirements based on factors such as function, risk classification or operating context. Guardian Agents extend those controls into runtime by continuously supervising individual agent behavior and supporting intervention when an agent moves outside its intended boundaries from flagging and escalating an issue to blocking an unauthorized action.

Validate agentic AI against an emerging industry standard

Collibra has achieved AIUC-1 certification for Maestro Assistant, Collibra's AI-powered assistant, validating it against AIUC-1 requirements for AI security, safety and reliability. AIUC-1 establishes requirements across areas including data and privacy, security, unauthorized actions, monitoring and human oversight. This makes Collibra the first Data and AI governance company to have one of its agents certified against AIUC-1.

Collibra is also helping organizations put the standard into practice. Since May, AI Command Center has included an out-of-the-box AIUC-1 assessment that helps organizations assess their AI against AIUC-1 requirements, identify gaps and take concrete steps toward alignment. This provides a structured path for organizations to understand where they stand and strengthen the controls needed as they scale AI and agents.
