CollegeAmerica Services, Inc. Selects Pearson To Increase Access To Online Learning

DENVER, June 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Pearson, the world's leading learning company, and CollegeAmerica Services, Inc. (CASI), today announced that Pearson LearningStudio has been selected as the new online learning provider for the four higher education institutions under the CASI umbrella.

CASI is a provider of management, marketing and administrative services to Stevens-Henager College, CollegeAmerica, California College San Diego and Independence University.  The four colleges serve students at 23 campuses throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Utah and Wyoming.  Each college is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and offers accelerated degree programs in Business, Information, Graphic Arts and Healthcare to more than 11,000 students every year.

Under the agreement, Pearson will provide Pearson LearningStudio, its Software as a Service learning management system; and Enterprise Reporting to monitor and analyze trends in student performance.
