COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- For 25 years, CollegeAdvantage has been helping families in Ohio and across the country to save for college. The first accounts were opened in April 1990 and many of the children who benefited from these savings have since graduated, started careers of their own, and many have started saving for their children. To kick off the 25th anniversary, CollegeAdvantage will present free introductory workshops on saving for college. The workshops will be held in twenty-five different cities across the state during April. Dates and times of local workshops are available at www.CollegeAdvantage.com. Families with children, parents-to-be, grandparents, and anyone interested in saving for college are encouraged to attend. Presentations will last about 45 minutes followed by time for questions and answers. Workshops are free and open to the public. In addition, current account owners and anyone age 18 or older who wants to save for college can enter to win one of ten $2,500 college savings awards being given away as part of the 25th anniversary.
