As part of National Student Day, NACS holds a national contest in which students can submit stories chronicling the way they gave back to their community. Prizes include scholarships and iPad minis. The contest remains open through Oct. 17, 2013, at midnight EST.
"Today many participating college stores are hosting special events, from author signings to special sales; from bringing exceptional student volunteers to the store for recognition to charity drives - the variety is exciting," said Brian Cartier, CAE, NACS chief executive officer. "And, it's all just to say thank you!"
