In ranking Underrated Colleges Doing Great Things, Sealey-Morris admits: "It's unavoidable that a ranking like this would have to be somewhat subjective; one person's 'Great Things' may be another person's 'Old News'." But three patterns pull the ranking together: Unique Curricular Designs, Model or Influential Programs, and Community Engagement and Service.
