College of Clinical Psychology at Argosy University Announces Continued Grant of Accreditation for Clinical Psychology Programs
Chicago and Orange, Calif. campuses achieve reaccreditation from American Psychological Association
ORANGE, Calif., Sept. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The College of Clinical Psychology at Argosy University is pleased to announce that the Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) programs at its Chicago and Orange County, Calif. campuses were awarded continued grants of accreditation from the American Psychological Association (APA).
APA accreditation reflects that the PsyD programs at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University | Chicago and American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University | Southern California and their faculty, curriculum, and support systems meet the standards established by the leading professional organization. Both programs were reaccredited for seven years which is the maximum amount of time allowed by the Commission on Accreditation of the APA.

The APA's Commission on Accreditation is recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education and the Council of Higher Education Accreditation, as the national accrediting authority for professional education and training in psychology. In total, 10 programs within the College of Clinical Psychology at Argosy University hold accreditation from the APA.
