College Football Hall of Fame Announces New Title I Field Trip Program for Metro Atlanta Public Schools
Hall's STEAM-based curriculum (TEAMS) is cornerstone of new educational opportunity at the Atlanta-based attraction
ATLANTA, Dec. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A Fan Experience is proud to introduce their brand new Title I Field Trip Program for metro Atlanta schools launching December 21, 2015.
"We are extremely committed to ensuring students, regardless of economic status, are able to experience the educational opportunities offered by Atlanta's newest most interactive attraction," said John Christie, interim president of the College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A Fan Experience.
This program will provide free admission to the College Football Hall of Fame for 10,000 students annually from Title I schools across the metro Atlanta area. Access to the program will be offered Monday-Thursday during the months of December (2015), January, February, March, September, October, November and December (2016). The program will renew in January 2017. Tickets are available to qualifying schools on a first-come, first-served basis and prescheduled dates and times are required.
In addition to the interactive and engaging exhibits students will experience at the Hall, the College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A Fan Experience also provides free online educator resources at www.cfbhall.com/education-resources/ for classroom learning for before and after the visit to the Hall.
