College Choice Releases 2016 Ranking of the Most Affordable Online Graduate Schools for Master's Degrees
RALEIGH, N.C., Nov. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- College Choice (http://www.collegechoice.net) has published its second annual ranking of most affordable online graduate schools for master's degrees. The ranking can be viewed at http://www.collegechoice.net/rankings/most-affordable-online-graduate-schools-2016/
Katie Amondson, Associate Editor for College Choice, says, "It can be overwhelming trying to wade through all the information out there to find the most affordable accredited online graduate programs. To help cut through this confusion, College Choice compiled this ranking to help students quickly discern which online master's programs truly are most affordable."
All regionally accredited schools with at least five online master's programs were considered and the total cost of each program was calculated. Often the actual cost of an online education can be difficult to determine as many schools incorporate fees that are not directly tied to tuition. These fees come in a wide range of types and amounts and, when added to the overall cost of attendance, can amount to thousands of dollars. Knowing what these fees are and how they impact the total cost of an online master's degree helps potential students make a more fully informed decision.
"With our ranking of most affordable colleges for master's programs, we have aimed to cut through some of the fog involved in determining the true cost of an online education," said Jeremy Alder, Managing Editor of College Choice.
University of Florida, Gainesville, FL tops the list, followed by Utah State University, Logan, UT, and Eastern New Mexico University, Portales, NM.
