College Choice Releases 2016 Ranking of the Best Online Master's in Accounting Degree Programs
EUGENE, Ore., June 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- College Choice (http://www.collegechoice.net/), an independent college search and rankings website, has published a ranking of the top fifty online masters programs in accounting in the United States (http://www.collegechoice.net/rankings/best-online-masters-in-accounting-2016/).
Rutgers University, the University of Connecticut, the University of Maryland-University College, Auburn University, and the University of Massachusetts occupy the top five spots on the list, which is based on factors such as cost of attendance, each program's reputation in its field, and return on investment. Other schools include the University of South Dakota, Florida Atlantic University, the University of Miami, Northeastern University, and the University of North Carolina.
Robert Hand, lead editor for the ranking, explains College Choice's rationale for this ranking further: "Undergraduate students interested accounting should seriously consider furthering their education with a master's degree to be fully qualified in the field and prepared for the CPA exam. Students now increasingly have the option of completing their accounting education through a growing number of online options, so we wanted to highlight these in great detail."
