College Choice Releases 2016 Ranking of the Best Online Bachelor's in Nursing Degrees
EUGENE, Ore., April 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- College Choice (http://www.collegechoice.net/), a leading authority in college search and rankings, has published a ranking of the top fifty online bachelor's degrees in nursing in the United States (http://www.collegechoice.net/rankings/top-online-bsn-programs-2016/).
Georgia College and State University, University of South Dakota, University of Arkansas, University of Texas at Arlington, and University of Alabama occupy the top five spots on the list, which is based on factors such as cost of attendance, each program's reputation in its field, and return on investment. Other schools include SUNY College of Technology at Delhi, University of North Georgia, Old Dominion University, Ohio University, and University of Wyoming.
Robert Hand, lead editor for the ranking, explains College Choice's ranking further. "Our 2016 ranking of online bachelor of nursing programs is designed to help students find a school that offers a balance between cost and national and regional reputation. Most of the schools on our list offer a shorter online Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing program (RN to BSN), while others offer a complete BSN. Some will require a few days on-campus for an occasional intensive or for orientation, but most are fully online. In order to pursue the RN to BSN programs, students will typically need an active RN license and a diploma or Associate of Arts."
