RALEIGH, N.C., April 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- College Choice (http://www.collegechoice.net/), a leading authority in the college selection process, has published a ranking of the top fifty online master of business administration (MBA) programs in the United States (http://www.collegechoice.net/rankings/top-online-mba-programs-2016/).
James Madison University, University of Nebraska Lincoln, University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, University of Tennessee Martin, and University of Mississippi occupy the top five spots on the list, which is based on factors such as cost of attendance, each program's reputation in its field, and return on investment. Other schools include University of Massachusetts Amherst, University of North Dakota, Mississippi State University, Arkansas State University Jonesboro, and Auburn University.
Robert Hand, lead editor for the ranking, explains College Choice's ranking further. "We have written before that the best investment students can make in their future as leaders in business and entrepreneurship is to commit a few years to formal study in the disciplines of management, leadership, and best practices in business. Not all aspiring leaders in commerce have the ability to relocate to attend a leading school in the guild, however, so we at College Choice have compiled a list the top fifty schools offering online and distance options for their MBA programs."
