College Board CEO and Top Defense Industry Executives Named to National Math and Science Board of Directors

DALLAS, Nov. 26, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National Math and Science Initiative (NMSI) has appointed three new members to its Board of Directors, including a leading voice in American education reform, David Coleman, the new President and CEO of the College Board, and two key executives from major defense corporations, Tom Arseneault, Executive Vice President of Product Sectors and Chief Technology Officer of BAE Systems, and Linda Mills, Corporate Vice President and President of Northrop Grumman Information Systems.

• David Coleman was named the President and CEO of the College Board, which administers the SAT and Advanced Placement programs, in fall 2012. He is the co-founder of the nonprofit Student Achievement Partners, which played a leading role in developing the Common Core State Standards in math and literacy.
