The fiscal year of 2011 was a banner year for American Mint in terms of growth. Profits were up over 40% from last year. Sales were up more than 4%, and for the first time in the company's history, it broke the $30 million mark. Paid sales were up 11%. In addition, jobs were up 11% over the previous year. Its outbound marketing department, which was just created in 2010, tripled in the past year alone.
"To support this fast-growing business, we grew our workforce 11% in only one year. In July of 2011, the company broke ground on a new building currently under construction. The new building is currently scheduled for a grand opening on June 8. It also passed its one millionth customer mark this past year.
