"CollabNet is very pleased to host our first European Customer Conference that will provide our customers and partners the opportunity to share experiences that will lead to better software delivery practices," said Dominique Wurzler, CollabNet vice president and general manager, EMEA. "In fact, many of our largest and most advanced enterprise customers are in Europe, and collectively they are gaining amazing improvements in productivity and innovation through Agile, DevOps and cloud development initiatives that will be presented during this two-day event."
CollabNet has a strong and growing presence across Europe, with more than 800 customers supported by offices located in Berlin, Munich and Potsdam, Germany, London and Amsterdam. It has achieved 30 percent growth in the region due the increased acceptance of modern development methods and the adoption of cloud computing and development practices. The company recently landed several large multi-year accounts, including a global leader in energy management solutions. In addition, increasing cost pressures on IT operations and the need to innovate faster are driving enterprise customers to adopt CollabNet's recently launched CloudForge hybrid cloud development platform.
At the conference, customer representatives from companies that include Capgemini and Deutsche Post, are slated to participate in the event. The theme of the conference centers on "Breaking Down the Silos" through Enterprise Cloud Development, the five-step set of principles that leads a company to the successful adoption of DevOps and hybrid cloud development. Specific topics for the event include Agile Transformation, DevOps, ALM Orchestration, Analytics and Reporting, Hybrid Cloud Development and Systems Integration.
In addition to Jim Ensell, Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer, CollabNet's Laurence Sweeney, VP Enterprise Transformation, will present a keynote on the re-usable set of principles and steps that form a blueprint to guide DevOps adoption and Enterprise Cloud Development success. As part of the HP Enterprise Transformation, Sweeney led the IT group that established the world's largest centrally managed instance of HP Quality Center, as well as building out a 12,000 seat CollabNet TeamForge platform instance. His keynote will be followed by customer stories illustrating the real world implementation of these principles.
