The team brings extensive experience building enterprise software and IT automation solutions for companies like Cisco, Tidal Software and BMC Software. Together with CollabNet CEO Flint Brenton, the company's new executive team will execute on its growth strategy and mission to allow complex enterprise IT organizations to effectively adopt and scale enterprise open source, Agile and, increasingly, DevOps initiatives.

Amir Ameri, Chief Financial Officer
Ameri is an accomplished financial professional with more than 25 years of leadership experience in finance and management. His background ranges across a number of public and private innovative software (SaaS and enterprise) and networking firms, along with deep international experience. Ameri joins CollabNet from Precise Software, an enterprise software firm in the APM arena, where he served as CFO. Prior to Precise, Ameri was CFO of EnergyConnect, a public SaaS firm where he led the acquisition of the company by Johnson Controls, Inc. He also served as CFO and VP of operations for Aperto Networks, a leading provider of WiMAX broadband wireless access systems and CFO and VP of finance and administration of Resumix, a human skills management software firm, where he led the spin-off and management buyout of the company from parent Ceridian Corporation.
Ted Trimble, Senior Vice President of Engineering
Trimble has more than 25 years of experience managing large enterprise software projects. He comes from the Cloud and Systems Management Group at Cisco, where as a senior director, he managed Cisco Automation for Cloud, Cisco Cloud Portal, Enterprise Scheduler, Enterprise Orchestrator and Intelligent Automation for SAP products. Previous to Cisco, Ted was part of Tidal Software where he was responsible for managing development, quality assurance, support, and user documentation of all of products. Before that, he was vice president of engineering for the Security, Administration and Migration products business unit of NetIQ Corporation, where he managed the development of products that boosted its quarterly revenue growth by 95 percent within four quarters. Before NetIQ, Ted spent 14 years at BMC Software, where he was vice president of DB2 Solutions, and prior to that served in various operational and support roles for several large enterprise corporations' Information Technology divisions.
Eric Robertson, General Manager of DevOps Product Line
Robertson is responsible for the DevOps product line at CollabNet. Prior to CollabNet, Eric served as director of services and portfolio management for enterprise solutions at Unisys. Eric joined Cisco through a company acquisition, where he led product management for Cisco's cloud automation and SAP ALM extension offerings. Eric has successfully held product development, services and management roles with enterprises and start-ups, and has provided consulting services to Fortune 500 companies. Eric holds a patent in the area of virtualization and a Master's Degree in Electrical and Software Engineering from University of Texas, Austin, and continues to further his research in domain-specific languages and intelligent automation.
Thomas Hooker, Vice President, Marketing
Hooker comes to CollabNet from Covisint, a cloud platform for enabling IoT and identity-centric solutions. Prior to Covisint, he spent five years in marketing at Cisco Systems, and held a variety of marketing positions at Tidal Software, MetaSolv Software and Boole & Babbage/BMC. Throughout his career, Hooker has played an integral role in deploying programs to help grow the businesses and market share. He brings extensive expertise in enterprise software marketing, data center domain, revenue marketing and customer acquisition.
