SANTA MONICA, Calif., Sept. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Check out rapper-singer Colette Carr's new video for the track "HAM" today HERE. The new track, which was co-written by Carr and features Ben J of The New Boyz, is out today and available at all digital partners.

Having released Skitszo, Carr's 20-song debut album, to much blog-acclaim and the support of Carr's fervent fans (who she has deemed "Goers" as they "make it go,") Colette now unleashes the video for "HAM" saying, "I can't believe we got anything productive done during the filming- it was definitely one big party. Carr has co-written all of the songs on Skitszo and collaborated with super-producers RedOne, Martin "Cherry Cherry Boom Boom" Kierszenbaum, Frankmusik and The Cataracs. Colette's combination of singing and spitting ("spinging"), combined with her unique flow and unexpected lyrics are a wild mix of sassy humor and spitfire personality.

Carr has also been creating and innovating at the same time. The MTVU top video winner and Billboard Unsigned Chart topper released her music in the most topical and urgent way - by issuing Skitszo at the exact pace in which her audience craved it - in five 4-song installments delivered every 2 months leading up to its release earlier this summer.
