ColDesi Inc. Promotes Sweet Tee's and More | Local Success Story for Digital HeatFX
TAMPA, Fla., March 8, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- ColDesi Inc. celebrates the success of local screen-print and embroidery company Sweet Tees and More.
Leanne Douglas, who is a single mom from out of state, purchased Lake Gibson Sports in Lakeland, Florida, then upgraded her new business with Digital HeatFX equipment for additional success.
Mark Stephenson, Director of Marketing for ColDesi, Inc. recently reported on Douglas's success, "Leanne is a dynamo. She expanded her home-based embroidery business in Maryland, moved to Lakeland and bought a local custom sports apparel company. She has stepped out and followed her dreams and has pulled it all together into a successful retail & contract shop," he said.
Leanne purchased her Digital HeatFX t-shirt transfer printer from ColDesi and has combined it with other custom sports apparel methods allowing her to service multiple markets at once:
- Screen printing
- Multi-head embroidery machines
- Vinyl cutting
- Applique
- Digital T-Shirt Transfers
Leanne is one of over 30,000 people that ColDesi has helped to start or develop a custom t-shirt or custom products business.
She started as a part-time home-based embroidery business using just her Brother embroidery machine and added screen printing when she bought Gibson Sports.
But the combination of turning away small orders for custom tees and exhaustion from weeding heat transfer vinyl sent her searching for a better way.
"I looked for an entire year before I bought my Digital HeatFX t-shirt transfer system," Leanne said. She kept her manual screen-printing press for large, single or 2 color jobs and she uses her Digital HeatFX OKI pro84322WT and Heat Press for the rest.
Douglas says, "Transfer printing is the future of my business. What I really want to do is sell t-shirt transfers because my Digital HeatFX system makes transfers which I can apply to almost anything," she said.
And now she's testing the new Exostencil Paper for Digital HeatFX so she can stop making screens the old-fashioned way.
ColDesi is the first company in the United States to offer OKI's new 9541 CMYKW printer. The company has been the #1 seller in the US for both the pro920WT and pro8432WT white toner printers.
