PITTSBURGH, Nov. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- This fall, business law firm Cohen & Grigsby, will offer a behind-the-scenes photo tour of Pittsburgh's historic Allegheny County Courthouse in a new exhibit from photographer David Aschkenas. The exhibit features the courthouse before its restoration in 2013 and marks the first time that Aschkenas' Allegheny County Courthouse photos are shown in public.
"We're very excited that these iconic images from the Allegheny County Courthouse will be debuted in the C&G Gallery," said Jack Elliott, president and CEO of Cohen & Grigsby. "The C&G Gallery continues to provide esteemed artists with a unique venue to showcase their talents. Our latest exhibit from David Aschkenas is part of our ongoing efforts to support our local arts while also offering our attorneys and staff, our clients, and the public a special look at one of Pittsburgh's architectural gems."
Titled "Snap Judgments: Capturing the Architecture of the Allegheny County Courthouse," the three-month exhibit will begin with an invitation-only reception on Thursday, Nov. 20 where guests will have the opportunity to meet Aschkenas and view his photographs both on exhibit and the full collection in his book. The reception will take place at the C&G Gallery, located in the firm's downtown offices at EQT Plaza, 625 Liberty Avenue. The public will have the opportunity to view Aschkenas' exhibit following the opening reception.
