Cohen & Grigsby Attorney Kelley Geraghty Price Named "Woman Lawyer of the Year" by Collier County Women's Bar Association

NAPLES, Fla., June 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Business law firm Cohen & Grigsby is pleased to announce that attorney Kelley Geraghty Price was named Woman Lawyer of the Year by the Collier County Women's Bar Association (CCWBA).  The CCWBA Woman Lawyer of the Year award is presented annually to a female lawyer who has excelled in her career, overcome stereotypes, and promoted the status of women in the legal profession in the state of Florida. Price will be presented with the award during a luncheon on June 25, 2014 at Northern Trust Bank in Naples.  

Price focuses her practice in the areas of complex business and commercial litigation, construction and real estate litigation, business torts and contractual disputes, employment litigation with an emphasis on representing employers, and probate and trust litigation. She has represented clients in a wide variety of business and transactional disputes in court, on appeal and at the administrative/agency level.

Price is active in the community and is recognized for her pro bono efforts, including the creation of a Foreclosure Task Force to help those at risk of losing their homes and for her support of the Wills for Heroes program, which provides assistance with wills and health care free of charge to veterans and their spouses.  She has also served in leadership roles for the Collier County Bar Association, the Thomas S. Biggs Chapter of the American Inns of Court, the Florida Bar (Trial Lawyers Section), the American Bar Association, the Florida Gulf Coast University Justice Studies Advisory Board, Legal Aid Service of Collier County and The Naples Players.
