Cohen & Grigsby Adds Depth, Experience to Litigation Group with Appointment of Director Jessica Horowitz

PITTSBURGH, May 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Cohen & Grigsby, a business law firm with headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pa. and an office in Bonita Springs, Fla., is pleased to announce the addition of Jessica Horowitz as director in the Florida Litigation Group, where she will focus on business and commercial litigation.  Horowitz is a member of the Florida and New York State Bars, as well as the Collier County Bar Association, Collier County Women's Bar Association and The Thomas S. Biggs American Inn of Court, Naples, Florida Chapter.

Prior to joining Cohen & Grigsby, Horowitz served as an associate at Bryant Law Office in Naples, Florida, where her areas of litigation included general civil, commercial, business and foreclosure defense.  Previously, she served as an assistant statewide prosecutor for the Florida Attorney General's Office in the Office of Statewide Prosecution.  She was responsible for multi-jurisdictional crimes. Prior to working at the Attorney General's Office, Horowitz was a supervising assistant district attorney for the Rockland County District Attorney's Office, in New City, New York. Horowitz obtained her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from the New York Law School.  She is also a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in political science with a minor in business administration.
