Cognitive Artificial Intelligence Leader Beyond Limits Appoints New Vice President for Business Development of Healthcare

GLENDALE, Calif., March 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Beyond Limits, a developer of advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and cognitive computing solutions, today announced it has appointed Kevin Taylor as its new Vice President for Business Development of Healthcare. Mr. Taylor will spearhead Beyond Limits' efforts as it continues to expand and provide advanced AI technologies for the healthcare and health tech space.

Mr. Taylor is a proven leader in commercializing products and services in healthcare. His expertise spans P&L management, business development, corporate ventures, licensing, strategic marketing, and product and services development across multiple sectors.

Prior to joining Beyond Limits, Mr. Taylor managed Cardinal Health's medical products portfolio of more than 100 product lines marketed and sold in the US, EMEA, APAC, LATAM, and Canada. In this role, he led global product strategy and lifecycle management for a portfolio generating over $1B annually. Mr. Taylor has also served as a Principal of The Incubation Factory's Fund II, an early stage technology investment fund based in St. Louis. Prior to his experience in venture capital, he led sales and marketing for Battelle's Medical Device Solutions business.

He has won several international awards throughout his career for innovative product design and commercialization, with two R&D 100 Awards and a Gold Medical Device Excellence Award. He was a Founder's Award nominee, Cardinal Health's highest award for excellence in leadership and service.

Mr. Taylor earned a Master's degree, with Distinction, in Technology and Innovation Management from the University of Sussex, England, as a Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholar.  He also holds a second Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
